Rain Bird Mentioned in The Cool Down

On January 19, online media site The Cool Down wrote an article discussing a California homeowner’s front yard transformation. The garden featured low-water plants such as cacti and succulents, such as agave. The article focused on the “eco-friendly gardening solution that optimizes rainwater collection,” considering California’s vulnerability to droughts.

Rain Bird’s expertise was highlighted in the article: “installing a drought tolerant garden helps reduce household water use, runoff pollution, plant disease, pest infestations, wildlife habitat loss, and soil erosion.”

Launched in 2022, The Cool Down is media channel that aims to be America’s first mainstream climate brand.  Based in Oregon, it offers helpful tips that everyone can implement, and also shares impactful news.
