Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant is a key member of the financial team in the organization responsible for a combination of financial functions including but not limited to engagement in and may lead some aspects of:
Responsibilities
- Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and Ad Hoc internal management reporting requirements
- Monthly close activities to ensure timely preparation of financial statements.
- Quarterly consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Annual external financial audit process
- Implementing and sustaining strong internal controls throughout the organization
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree
- 5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills including advanced Excel skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree
- Professional Accounting Certification (CPA preferred)
