The Director of IT Strategy & Governance oversees the development of technology strategies, IT portfolio and planning processes, and governance standards across the IT organization and in support of IT strategic and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of the business-aligned technology strategy and roadmaps while
working collaboratively with business and IT leaders
• Facilitate the planning process for IT, including collecting business demands,
determining annual projects/initiatives, and completing all necessary operating and
capital planning.
• Establish approach, measurements, and tracking for: IT-specific performance of assets,
resources, IT-related business cases, project/solution delivery, roadmap execution, and
progress against committed objectives.
• Lead vendor management, including definition of strategy and processes for assessing,
selecting, and managing vendor relationships and overall contract management.
• Lead IT financial management, including defining the budget, tracking the budget, and
making changes throughout the fiscal year.
• Lead IT-related communications throughout the company

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in information technology, preferably in
the manufacturing and software industries.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior business and IT Leaders on strategic planning
and roadmap development and provide guidance on leading industry practices /
methodologies to drive improvement across the IT function.
• Experience in developing and implementing IT processes and controls for budgeting,
monitoring, and forecasting financial and economic aspects of the organization.
• Experience executing a vendor management strategy, and evaluating and monitoring
internal and external service providers, contractors, and consultants.
• Strong understanding of the principles of change management, effective communication
to stakeholders, and associated activities to engage stakeholders and mitigate risk.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders,
demonstrating the business value of enterprise architecture and data management
initiatives.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related
field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certifications such as ITIL (Info. Technology Infrastructure Library), Scaled Agile, etc
