This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing our inside sales strategies, driving growth, and supporting our various customer networks. As the Inside Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our current inside sales program, establishing product training initiatives, contributing to analytics, and reporting tools, and eventually, hiring and leading a team of Inside Sales Business Development Representatives.

Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inside Sales Program Management: Continuously improve and manage our existing inside sales program, optimizing processes and workflows to ensure revenue growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report key performance metrics to evaluate the success and efficiency of the inside sales program, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Product Training Program: Develop and implement comprehensive product training programs for Rain Bird distributors, enabling them to effectively promote and sell our irrigation solutions.
  • Analytics and Reporting Tools: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the research and development of analytics and reporting tools that enhance decision-making and efficiency within the sales department.
  • Team Building: In the future, lead the recruitment, training, and management of Inside Sales Business Development Representatives to expand the inside sales team.
  • Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics, including pricing, promotions, and product positioning, to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our various customer segments, addressing their needs and providing solutions, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of inside sales or sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and database applications.
  • Expertise in database development and use of data analytics solutions (PowerBI) in decision-making.
  • Experience with CRM tools to manage contacts, customer follow-up actions, etc.

 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in the irrigation or agriculture industry.
  • Training and development experience.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and innovation mindset.
