The Irrigation Show and Education Week (IA Show) is a great place to connect with other irrigation industry professionals and sharpen your skills. The 2022 event in Las Vegas from December 5-9 offers many great opportunities.

Getting Started

If it’s your first time at the IA Show or you’re a relatively new attendee, the First-Timers Roundtable on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 6 is where you can learn how to get the most from your time at the show.

Pro Tip: Take your IA Show badge everywhere. With events taking place across several venues, your badge will be required for entry.

Check the RSVP: In addition to showing your badge, many courses or events require an RSVP. You can book both your show registration and your event RSVPs at irrigation.org/2022show.

Rain Bird Courses

There are many opportunities for education during the IA Show. Here are a few we want to highlight:

Free Math Tutorial
Tuesday, Dec. 6 | 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Rick Malkin (Project Manager, Commercial Division, Controls) from Rain Bird will be one of the instructors for the free Math Tutorial on Tuesday evening. The course is a “two-hour intensive review of the most common calculations and formulas used in irrigation system design, installation, audits and maintenance.”

Landscape Irrigation Auditor
Day 1  |  Monday, Dec. 5  |  8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Day 2  |  Tuesday, Dec. 6  |  8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This intermediate-level, two-day Landscape Irrigation Auditor course taught by Rick Malkin from Rain Bird and Eric Olson with the City of Fort Collins (Colo.) Parks, teaches students how to assess irrigation system performance. It is a recommended review for the certified landscape irrigation auditor exam.
