This document explains where to obtain cables that enable
you to use the remote connectors on the ESP-MC series controller.
It also details the wiring and hardware needed to make your
own cables, if necessary.
ESP-MC Wiring
The ESP-MC controller has between two and four connectors
located in the cabinet at the top of the terminal board. These
connectors are labeled J3, J4, J5, and J6. Note...These connectors
are not in numerical order on the board! The purpose of these
connectors is:
J3 - Stations 1-12, 24 VAC, master valve, and common
J4 - Stations 13-24 *
J5 - Stations 25-36 *
J6 - Stations 37-40 *
* These connectors will not be present unless the controller
has been manufactured with this number of stations.
Preassembled Cables
Two companies have preassembled cables that will adapt their
remote controls to the ESP-MC. The cables may be purchased
by contacting the manufacturers directly.
