Weather Stations

The Maxicom² Weather Station collects and stores weather data from field locations. This information is retrieved by the central controller daily, allowing Maxicom² to adjust station runtimes according to each day’s ET (evapotranspiration) and rainfall.

Features

• Powerful internal micrologger for climatic data collection, logging and analysis, constant communication with weather sensors, and storage of 30 days of data
  
  
• Sensors monitor 6 weather ET (evapotranspiration) parameters: air temperature (high and low), solar radiation, relative humidity, wind speed, wind run and rainfall. Wind direction is also measured.
  
  
• Self-diagnostic test mechanisms: internal moisture sensor, battery voltage level, and test port for local sensor check
  
  
• Direct wire connection to central computer
  
• Telephone modem model for distances to central computer of more than 4,000 feet
  
  
• Optional solar panel models (“S” models)

• State-of-the-art weather software that calculates ET values, stores daily and historic ET data, monitors and displays current weather conditions, and graphically displays weather parameters (Maxicom²)
