FREEDOM-Pad™ Pocket PC Technology and Golf Irrigation Control In the Palm of your Hand
Rain Bird's new FREEDOM-Pad coupled with the popular FREEDOM™ System makes remote control of your irrigation system easier than ever! The FREEDOM-Pad uses the Compaq® iPAQ™ and Windows® PocketPC operating system to allow real-time operation and database management of your central control from anywhere on the course.
Map-Based System Compatibility
With maps transferred directly from your Rain Bird Cirrus™, Nimbus™ II, Stratus™ II or Stratus LT central control system, the FREEDOM-Pad provides complete station, program and/ or schedule operation. The command based functions like, Turn On, Turn Off, Advance, Pause, Resume, and schedule-based operations are activated with a tap of the stylus. All commands are sent directly to the central control computer and properly administered according to your systems hydraulic conditions.
Superior Database Control
Making notes in the field and waiting to adjust the station database is no longer necessary with the FREEDOM-Pad. Changes like, Runtime, ET adjust, Station adjust, CYCLE + SOAK™ time can be made from a nywhere on the course as the situation is identified. Once you return to your office, synchronize the FREEDOM-Pad with the central control computer and the changes are updated automatically.
Operation Tracking
All FREEDOM-Pad activity is logged at the central control computer to deliver unmatched true system-reporting performance. Rain Bird central software verifies all transmissions received, bringing together reliable two-way communication and easy operation.
