proud to announce the immediate availability of the EAGLE™ Wireless
Rotor, the industry’s first rotor capable of communicating
from a central control or handheld unit without the use of
underground wiring.
A revolutionary innovation in rotor design, the EAGLE Wireless
Rotor allows for maximum flexibility in the placement of
the rotors without the inconvenience of hard wiring and electrical
connections. With the EAGLE Wireless Rotor, installing additions
or retrofits are quick and easy because there is no wire
or satellite installation and turf damage is minimized. Also,
because it is wireless, the EAGLE Wireless Rotor reduces
the likelihood of lightning damaging the system.

In instances where ‘ins and outs’ need to be
added to a green, installing the EAGLE Wireless Rotor can
assist golf superintendents to improve control and precision
of the irrigation on and around the green. The EAGLE Wireless
Rotor allows separate irrigation schedules for the two different
types of turf. It also minimizes damage due to trenching
and reduces installation time. Because of the wireless feature,
the EAGLE Wireless Rotor improves irrigation control and
the overall quality of play immediately after installation.
The EAGLE Wireless Rotor uses a paging service to communicate
from the central control system to the rotor. An internal
battery and solar panel eliminate the need for external
power and the available handheld unit allows direct communication
to the rotor. The EAGLE Wireless Rotor can be an add-on
to any of the current Rain Bird Central Control Systems.
