3/4" kit with Low Flow Anti-Siphon Valve and automatic Back Flush Filter

This two-piece kit includes the 3/4" Anti-Siphon Low Flow Valve with the 3/4” Pressure Regulating Back Flush Filter. The Low Flow Anti-Siphon Valve combines the reliable DV valve with an atmospheric vacuum breaker for backflow prevention and has IAPMO approved listing. The Low Flow valve design is the only valve on the market that can effectively handle low flows (below 3 gpm (0,19 l/s)) without weeping. The Pressure Regulating Back Flush Filter is a 200 mesh (75 micron) automatic self-cleaning filter that includes a 30 psi (2,1 bars) pressure regulator. The Back Flush Filter should be used in municipal water applications only.

Caution: An in-line check valve is required if the kit is not at the highest point in the irrigation system.

Pressure Loss Chart

In order to supply 30 psi (2,1 bars) outlet pressure, additional pressure is needed at the inlet since there is some pressure loss from water flowing through the kit. The amount of pressure loss depends on the flowrate. The charts below list the minimum inlet pressure required to supply 30 psi (2,1 bars) of outlet pressure.
