Irrigation Troubleshooting Guide
Issue: Winterization

  • Winter is coming, what do I need to do to prepare my irrigation system?
Possible Solution

If you live in a freezing climate, it is advisable to "winterize" the sprinkler system in order to avoid damage. Special attention should be given to removing water from the pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads before freezing occurs.

Please review the Rain Bird Homeowner's Guide to Winterization for detailed instructions on how to prepare your irrigation system for the Winter months.
