Today’s Rain Bird Pump Station line is based on over 20 years of continued development and improvement since Rain Bird built its first prefabricated Pump Station for golf course irrigation. Rain Bird’s long term close working relationship with the end-users of our Pump Stations has given the feedback and knowledge needed to develop a product that is truly adapted to the needs of irrigation managers.

With the V-series (using vertical multistage centrifugal pumps), VT-series (vertical turbine) and S-series (using submersible pumps) in different configurations Rain Bird offers a wide range of solutions for diverse and demanding golf course irrigation applications.

RAIN BIRD V-Series Vertical Centrifugal PUMP STATION

The easy to install, easy to maintain above ground solution provides superior reliability at a low running cost. Vertical Centrifugal Pump Station Line available in 3 models. All models use the same Variable Frequency Drive technology and all cabinets have the same basic design and standard components. Thus allowing use of RBSv PumpManager (Standard in V-3300) and SmartPump™ in all models.

VFD & Flow Management technology

Variable Frequency Drive Controlled Pump Sets will respond to varying demand, as necessary to maintain a constant pressure against variable flow.

Rain Bird pump stations use advanced flow management technology by monitoring actual system flows and reacting in real time to both optimize and protect your entire system.

V-3100 SERIES

The economy line. Standard configuration has 2 or 3 pumps. Available flow range up to 200 m3/h. Standard features include:

  • Grundfos CR Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pumps
  • Pumps mounted on a galvanized steel base frame
  • Galvanized steel suction and discharge manifolds
  • Isolation valves for each pump
  • Check valve for each pump
  • Protective thermostat on each pump
  • Pressure transmitter in stainless steel
  • Hose point connection
  • Touch-button user interface shows actual operating conditions and alarms, and allows for easy pressure setting adjustment.

V-3200 SERIES

The most commonly used line that is suitable for most golf course applications. Standard configuration has 2 – 5 pumps. Available flow range up to 500 m3/h.
Additional standard features include:

  • Flow meter with electronic signal to the Control Cabinet
  • Automatic self-flushing Y-strainer with PLC-controlled Over Pressure Relief Valve
  • Main Isolation Valve on Pump Station outlet
  • Jockey pump included for pump sizes CR64 and larger
  • Advanced touch-button user interface shows actual water flow, operating conditions and alarms and allows for easy pressure setting adjustment.

V-3300 SERIES

The high end line. Standard configuration has 2 – 5 pumps. Available flow range up to 500 m3/h. Additional standard features include:

  • Independent Over Pressure Relief Valve
  • Jockey pump included for pump sizes CR45 and larger
  • Water-cooled heat exchanger on the cabinet
  • RBSv Pump Manager software with modems
  • 3-phase failure control
  • Heat sensors in motors
  • Floating low water level switch
  • State of the art colour touch-screen user interface shows actual operating conditions and alarms.

RAIN BIRD S-Series Submersible PUMP STATIONS

The technically advanced and efficient under water solution:

  • high volume and/or high lift wet well applications
  • minimum floor space required
  • virtually noiseless
  • easy to service
  • all stainless steel pumps for better corrosion resistance

S-3200 SERIES

S-3300 SERIES
