GLENDORA, Calif., (March 7, 2006) – No longer considered
irrigation “technicians” only, irrigation professionals
today are our front-line protectors for our precious water
resources. Those in the irrigation system industry must have
a wide variety of product and business knowledge in order
to work for and run successful irrigation businesses.
Recognizing the expanding roles of those involved in specifying,
designing, installing and running today’s complex irrigation
systems, Rain Bird Academy invites irrigation professionals
to its Regional Improvement Training Camp March 28 - 31,
2006 at the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis, located at 1313
Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, Minn. Those who would benefit
from this training include irrigation contractors, system
designers, distributors, technicians, landscape architects,
irrigation managers from public agencies and irrigation business
owners.
Courses taught by Irrigation Industry Certified Trainers
offer detailed instruction on financial management, irrigation
design, various field installation techniques and troubleshooting
irrigation systems. Select courses will also be available
for Spanish-speaking professionals. Those interested in attending
