Bird is changing the way homeowners water their lawns and
gardens with the unveiling of the Simple
To Set Irrigation Timer (SST), the world’s first “user-friendly,” multi-program
timer that does not require an advanced programming degree
to ensure maximum lawn and garden water savings all year
long. Unlike other timers, which often require countless
hours to install and program, the SST uses Rain Bird’s
proprietary Simple To Set Timing Technology to provide homeowners

The Simple To Set Timer is equipped with one-touch water
saving features including Seasonal Adjust that changes water
duration and frequency, Rain Delay for days when nature provides
its own irrigation, and the timer easily connects to an optional
rain shut-off sensor for those rainy days when homeowners
are not able to manually shut-off their automatic sprinklers.
The advanced timer also includes a built in troubleshooting
feature that automatically detects an electrical short, displays
an error message and suspends watering of that zone until
the problem is fixed, assuring homeowners that their sprinkler
systems are not wasting water for weeks without notice due
to a valve malfunction.
Color coded wiring, and easy installation means the “plug
and play” timer easily replaces any existing sprinkler
