HOMEOWNERS WITH SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED LAWNS
AND GARDENS TO GET BIGTIME WATER SAVINGS FROM RAIN BIRD’S
NEW “MINI” ROTOR LAWN SPRINKLERS
Rain Bird’s 22SA Brings “Big” Professional
Grade Irrigation Technology To Smaller Landscapes, Helping
Homeowners Trim Their Water Bills While Keeping Their Yards
Looking Beautiful
AZUSA, CA (February 22, 2007) – Homeowners with small
and midsized lawns and gardens are more than familiar with
the problems that accompany smaller landscapes - excessive
or insufficient watering, too much or too little water pressure,
and sprinklers that all too often water sidewalks, walls
and doors instead of plants and grass.
Fortunately, homeowners with midsized and small lawns and
gardens have a new ally in the fight to keep their landscapes
green in the presence of unrelenting sun and heat – the
22SA Rotor for small and medium-sized yards. With multiple
rotating streams which distribute water uniformly and a state-of-the-art
pressure activated watering mechanism, the 22SA Rotor puts
water exactly where it is needed without excessive spraying
or misting, making it the most efficient pop-up sprinkler
available for smaller areas of residential turf.
“Regardless of the size of your yard, using the proper
amount of water is essential to ensure your lawn and garden
stays healthy, green and free of bugs and pests,” said
Dave Johnson, Marketing Director for Rain Bird Consumer Products. “Designed
specifically with the smaller landscape in mind, the 22SA
uses a pressure-activated water stream mechanism, which eliminates
water lost due to misting or fogging, ensuring that a homeowner’s
smaller lawn receives the optimal amount of water it needs
to look its best.”
The 22SA has a 4” pop-up height and a ½” inlet,
and can be installed in the same irrigation zone as large
rotors. The 22SA comes equipped with a wiper seal,
which prevents excessive flow and water waste, and also prevents
debris from entering the sprinkler upon retraction.
The 22SA has a suggested retail price of $8.47, and is available
in home centers across the country.
